APOS donates to “Clash-Namibia.org”
This year APOS is donating to a great organization in Namiba. The Association for Children with Language, Speech and Hearing Impairments of Namibia (CLaSH) is based in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital city. CLaSH was formed in 1989 as a self help group for parents. It has since become a well respected service provider, registered as charitable organisation with the Ministry of Health and Social Services.

APOS donates to „Ärzte ohne Grenzen“
This year, instead of the usual Christmascards and -presents, we will make a donation to „Ärzte ohne Grenzen“. The German section of Médecins Sans Frontières was founded in 1993 as a non-profit association.
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
APOS and Fagus-GreCon agree on strategic cooperation
Fagus-GreCon Greten GmbH & Co. KG (‘Fagus-GreCon’) in Alfeld and APOS GmbH (‘APOS’) in Wedel have agreed on a strategic cooperation in the field of spectroscopy-based measurement systems. The cooperation between the two companies includes not only cooperation in market development but also cooperation in the area of service and support.
By using the worldwide sales and service network of Fagus-GreCon, the availability of the APOS systems can be ensured even better than before. Joint product developments are also part of the agenda. Heinrich Unland, Managing Director of APOS, is convinced that Fagus-GreCon is the perfect market and service partner for APOS’ solutions. “Our product portfolios fit together perfectly and we see great joint potential,” said Unland.
Spectroscopy-based systems for moisture measurement have established themselves in recent years. By adding new applications such as pH value measurement or determination of the resin quantity along the entire process chain the number of applications is growing rapidly – from the acceptance of the raw material at the factory gate to quality assurance on the finished plate.
Through its cooperation with APOS, Fagus-GreCon is expanding its product range with APOS spectroscopy systems specially developed for the wood-based panel and paper & pulp industries. “This addition to our product portfolio enables us to support our customers even better than before in optimizing their production processes. 11th European Wood-based Panel Symposium, Hamburg, Germany
From 10th to 12th October, Fraunhofer Institute for Wood Research WKI and European Panel Federation EDF stage the Wood-based Panel Symposium for the 11th time, in Hamburg in the Grand Elysee Hotel. APOS will be present again on the Symposium and presents its products for wood reception and process applications – live on our booth.
